Unexpected Consequences 0.2 beta 7 will be available tomorrow for fan and above supporters. It would have been available tonight, but I decided to finally fix some issues with the scene at the club. The whole interaction sequence with Alice and Mia and the drinks and dancing was a holdover from the Love & Lust days and really didn't fit in anymore, so I've reworked that part of the story. I'm also doing some last minute adjustments to the hairstyle Mia is going to use for her date scenes, which is actually the part I am currently working on. I'm just putting the finishing touches on those adjustments now and will start it rendering the images for the day 5 pre Mia date scene overnight. I've also made a few minor dialog tweaks in other parts of the game and made a slight tweak to catching Mia on night 2. Finally, I've also adjusted the outline on the dialog text and added parentheses around the text for Rick's thoughts to make it more obvious that he's thinking and not speaking aloud. Along with the updated beta tomorrow, I will also be releasing an updated demo here that includes all of the relevant changes included in the new beta. In addition, starting this Friday, I will make Unexpected Consequences available for sale here on itch.io with the current available version being a modified version of beta 6. This modified version of beta 6 will essentially be beta 7, but ending at the same point as the original beta 6, so purchases here will get the improvements to the early game and the interface, but not the new content. The purchased version here will be updated to the latest beta 4 weeks after it is released to fan and above supporters on Patreon and SubscribeStar.
