Development Update #36

After I rendered the first and largest scene of the next beta, I realized there were some issues that needed to be fixed, including the fact that I had neglected to update my sky dome to an evening one instead of daytime. That meant that not only did I have to correct and re-render all of the shots for that scene, I also had to correct and re-render the final three shots from the previous beta and the character intro animation that is part of the scene. I have completed all of the corrections and re-rendered the still shots and a bit over a third of the frames of the animation. I have also posed and rendered the gallery image that can be unlocked in the next beta.

The second scene of the next beta takes place in the TV room of your house and I just finished posing that a few minutes ago and have started it rendering. Since the setting of this scene is that Mia was watching something on TV when you and Alice arrive home, I needed some content to put on the TV for background. I spent about an hour yesterday putting together several shots from a fantasy horror movie to be appear in the background and rendered them overnight.

I have two more very small scenes that I plan to include in the next beta for a total of seven additional shots. I currently plan to release beta 3 on Friday, but I will not have the time to complete re-rendering the remaining day 1 and 2 animations for this beta, so the remastered day 1 and 2 content will not be included until the final 0.4 release.
