The first beta of Unexpected Consequences 0.5 is now available to Fans and Super Fans on Patreon and SubscribeStar. This version adds in just under half of the day 8 content and upgrades the game to 4K. In testing, I noticed an issue where the flag for having sex with Mia on your first date was not getting set properly. I have fixed that and also added in a temporary fix to set it properly based on another variable that at this point can still be used to definitively determine the state of the missing flag. Additionally, this version includes adjustments to the setting, renaming Oceanside to Ocean City and also renaming some of the other locations mentioned. Dialog has also been updated to reflect these changes and add in a little world building with mentions of StarTek Industries, the company that makes prosthetics like Kat’s. Finally, I have also fixed some typos that I discovered during testing.
